River Pools Install Info

Hey Everyone! I get many calls about our pool, so below is some info about our River Pools install. We began on Aug 31, 2020 and it ended on Oct 7, 2020. The plan:       How it started: How it ended: The pool, concrete around the pool, retaining wall, and retaining wall lights, and equipment were done by River Pools.  The equipment (left to right) is pump, filter (Pleatco PAP150 ~$70), chlorine ( Pool Frog XL Pro , chlorine pack ~$60) I currently do not use the mineral pack), UV light filter, electrical panel, and 200,000 BTU gas heater.  The heater heats at 3.5 - 4 °  and hour. The cost is about $20-40 per day depending on how cold and how long you run it.  Here are some pics after landscaping. Landscaping done by Backyard Magicians .  The pool is the I30 and holds 7,947 gallons. We have the LED lights and two bubblers on the tanning ledge. I do not have the app/wifi panel controls. Polaris VXR IQ+ Review

In April, 2021, I decided to purchase a Polaris VXR IQ+ robotic pool cleaner. So far, its been well worth the investment.

What I like:
     - It's easy, does a great job, and does most of the work for me.
     - It takes about 1:45 to clean the pool.
     - It gives you the pool temp while running.
What I don't like:
     - It isn't able to clean the tanning ledge.
     - If your pool water level is low, it cannot reach the water line stains of a high water level.

May 20th update:
My process for cleaning now is to brush off the tanning ledge, seats, and a few "corners" that the unit doesn't seem to clean so well. That takes about 5 minutes. Once that is done, I drop the unit into the pool and that's it. It really has cut down my maintenance time to clean the pool. It does a great job and worth the money.
